Resources for Teenagers
Today we wanted to create a list of resources you can share with your autistic teenagers and children. We wanted this list to be the opposite of deficits driven, but to be neurodiversity affirmative.
Its really important to foster positive autistic identities for our children, focusing on their strengths (while not denying their challenges) and their differences, rather than negative language around weaknesses and failures.
The list below is not exhaustive, and I have struggled to find good resources for teenagers particularly, so please, if you have any recommendations to add, please do so in the comments.

Âûtistic Teens Worldwide A facebook group for autistic teens run by the cofounder of Autism Inclusivity, John Greally. https://www.facebook.com/groups/autisticteensworldwide

Please please do add any recommendations to the list, particularly for teens! Ideally we're looking for identity first language and positive role models who celebrate and promote autistic culture.
