When a professional shows you who they are going to be.. it might be because of the culture they work in, it might be lack of funding, it might be their personality or their upbringing or their own personal difficulties..

Forgive them, because conflict and anger will eat you up.. but do not allow them to navigate your child’s journey any longer.

Arm yourself with knowledge. Apply for an EHCP yourself. Don’t fight a battle with professionals, focusing on their mistakes and poor practice.

Fight a battle for your child’s rights. Go over their head. Create your own plan and don’t give up until your child gets the education they deserve.

Hate and anger will hold you back. An assertive drive for justice is the path to follow.
